Yes I did Hug a Ford Fusion… Once

Sometimes you are in the right place at the right time. I was lucky enough to be in a Ford campaign back in 2011. They needed someone with a Honda Accord to “Swap My Ride” with a Ford Fusion. 

I did not know at the time but this mini 30 second clip would help me more than my professional jobs. I had been living in Los Angeles and floating through jobs.. still on the hunt for my ‘career’. But as luck would have it I was picked for Ford’s “Swap My Ride” 13 week campaign. 

I remember everyone texting or calling asking that was really me in the commercials. It truly was me.. But those ugly sweaters were not! I was happily paid for those 13 weeks and it honestly gave me a huge push to figure out ‘what I want to be when I grow up’. I needed to be around active people, in the sun, and not in an office. It helped me launch my goals to be in the health + wellness industry full time. It was not an easy path- but at least I had a cute car to help me kickstart my goals!
